ACA Threads are an example of a company in the textile manufacturing sector that has been able to reduce its reliance on the municipal water grid by 70% over five years.

ACA Threads is a sewing thrad manufacturer and supplier that is heavily reliant on water in its manufacturing process. Identifying water shortages as a major threat to their operations, ACA Threads emabrked on their journey to water independence by making a number of interventions.

Through equipment automation and process adaptation, ACA Threads reduced their water consumption by 70% between 2012 and 2017.
